Insurance Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Helpful answers about dental insurance, the complimentary denture consultation, and the $89 new patient special.
Which dental insurance plans do you accept or work with?
Bright Smiles Dental Care strives to work with as many dental insurance plans as possible, including Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Aetna, Guardian, Connection Dental, DentaQuest, Healthy Michigan plan options, and other plans listed on this page. Because plan networks and employer groups can vary, please call our office to confirm your exact plan before scheduling.
What is included in the complimentary denture consultation?
A complimentary denture consultation is a conversation about your concerns, smile goals, and possible next steps for full dentures, partial dentures, or replacing an older denture. A diagnostic exam, X-rays, treatment, laboratory fees, and other services are not included unless specifically stated by our office.
What is included in the $89 new patient special?
The $89 new patient special includes a comprehensive exam and digital X-rays when clinically appropriate. It is for new self-pay patients only and cannot be combined with dental insurance or other promotions. Treatment is not included. An appointment is required, and patients should mention the offer when scheduling. The offer is subject to change.
Do you accept Medicaid dental plans?
We work with the Medicaid-related dental plans listed on this page, including DentaQuest, Healthy Kids, Blue Cross Complete, Molina Medicaid, Aetna Medicaid, and United Healthcare Healthy MI Medicaid. Eligibility, active coverage, and current network participation should be confirmed with our office before your appointment.
Do I need to bring my insurance card to my appointment?
Yes. Please bring your dental insurance card or have your member ID, group number if applicable, and the subscriber's date of birth available before your visit. This helps our team review your information as accurately as possible.
Will my dental insurance cover all of my treatment?
Dental insurance benefits vary by employer group, plan design, annual maximum, deductible, waiting periods, frequency limits, and the specific treatment recommended. A benefit estimate is not a guarantee of payment, and patients remain responsible for amounts not paid by their plan.
What if I do not see my insurance plan listed?
Please call Bright Smiles Dental Care. Some plans use a different network name, administrator, or employer group name, and our team can help you understand the next step before you schedule.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
You are still welcome at Bright Smiles Dental Care. Please call our office to discuss appointment and payment questions before your visit.
